Lofred Madzou

Lofred Madzou is currently the Strategy Director, Strategy & Business Development at Truera. Prior to joining Truera, Madzou worked as the Artificial Intelligence Lead at the World Economic Forum from November 2018 to February 2022. In this role, Madzou worked with leading companies to help identify the risks associated with their AI systems, as well as support the creation, execution, and tracking of effective mitigation strategies. Madzou also advised various Governments on AI regulation during their time at the World Economic Forum.

From September 2017 to April 2018, Madzou co-drafted the French Artificial Intelligence Strategy as the Co-drafter of the French Artificial Intelligence Strategy at Assemblée nationale. In April 2018, French President Emmanuel Macron set the ambition to make France a world leader in AI and launched an initial €1.5 billion strategy plan that Madzou’s team co-designed. The strategy is available on the Assemblée nationale website.

Madzou also served as Technology Policy Officer at Conseil National du Numerique (CNNum) from November 2016 to October 2018 and as a Policy Analyst in DG employment social affairs and inclusion at the European Commission from January 2013 to December 2013.
