Paul Lourenco

Paul Lourenco has over 10 years of professional experience in the software engineering industry. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Truescope, where they are responsible for managing IaC with Terraform and the Serverless Framework, as well as developing backend data-processing and micro-services on the AWS stack. From 2013 to 2020, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Amadeus IT Pacific. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Software Product Manager at Maxon Australia. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Software Engineer (Contractor) at Amadeus, where they developed mission-critical back-end applications and was involved in live support of enterprise production systems. In 2009, they were a Proprietor at Sanity Finance, a Mortgage Brokering business. From 2001 to 2009, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Thales Australia, where they gained extensive experience in Naval/Defence software systems and held an ASIO Secret Security Clearance.

Paul Lourenco graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 1999 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) in Control Systems. Paul later obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2013.
