Miguel Santamaria

Miguel Santamaria has over 25 years of work experience in the telecommunications and technology industries. From 1993 to 2006, they held various roles at Nortel Networks, including Product Manager, System Capacity & Overload Controls, Customer Advocate Technical Advisor Level 4, Verizon Southern California, TDMA & CDMA QA Manager, GSM/EDGE Tech Lead, and Test Engineer. From 2006 to 2015, they were employed at Ericsson, where they held the roles of Head of IoT Logistics/Supply Chain and IoT Manufacturing, North America, Director Industry & Society, Utilities and Transportation Verticals, Director of Emerging Business and Commercialization, and Senior OSS/BSS Solution Architect. In 2015, they also co-founded TRUESPOT, a location-based technology company, where they held the roles of Head of Reporting and Analytics, Chief Product Officer, and CTO. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been employed at Simpli Financial as CTO.

Miguel Santamaria obtained two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida in 1993. In June 2021, they obtained a certification in Programming Foundations: Fuzzy Logic from LinkedIn.
