Roger May

Roger May PhD is an experienced professional in horticulture and operations management, currently serving as the Director of Technical Operations - North at TruGreen since September 2009, where guidance and technical support are provided to twenty-one facilities in Michigan and Indiana. Roger May has also contributed as a First Tee Mentor since September 2021. Prior to TruGreen, Roger May held the position of General Manager at The Cottage Gardens, Inc., overseeing tree production, facilities maintenance, and integrated pest management, and previously served as Plant Center Manager, focusing on sales, marketing, and inventory management of nursery stock. Roger May holds a PhD in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Horticulture from Michigan State University, an M.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
