Brandon Reed

Brandon Reed currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Model Governance and Ongoing Monitoring Oversight at Truist, overseeing annual reviews for various models across the enterprise. Previously, Brandon held the position of Senior Vice President at SunTrust, where responsibilities included developing an enterprise model monitoring oversight program and managing a team of quantitative analysts. At FirstMerit Bank, Brandon was a Vice President and Model Risk Manager, focusing on implementing a Model Risk Governance Program. Additional experience includes teaching mathematics as an Adjunct Faculty member at Cuyahoga Community College and working as an Assistant Vice President at KeyBank, where econometric models for forecasting were developed. Brandon's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cleveland State University and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from The University of Akron.
