Brenda James

Brenda James, CRCM, has extensive experience in compliance within the financial industry, currently serving as Compliance Director at Truist since October 2017, after holding the position of Compliance Manager. Prior to Truist, Brenda was Vice President and Compliance Officer at Citi from January 2016 to October 2017. Brenda's career began at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where roles included VP, Compliance Manager, AVP, Senior Compliance Officer, Quality Assurance Analyst II, and Senior Closer, from July 2005 to January 2016. Brenda holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Strayer University-Maryland.
