Chris Roberson

Chris Roberson is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and IT strategy. Currently serving as the SVP Software Engineering Director for Dealer Retail Services Consumer Lending at Truist since December 2019, Chris has also held the position of VP for the Dealer Retail Services & National Consumer Lending IT Division, leading significant technology initiatives and driving business strategy. Prior to Truist, Chris contributed to SAFEchild NC as a Member of the Board of Directors and held various roles at BB&T, including VP of Enterprise IT Strategy & Business Alignment, and at Progress Energy as a Senior IT Analyst. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from Florida State University.
