Eric Knapp

Eric Knapp is a seasoned Cyber Threat Analyst with extensive experience in vulnerability management for large enterprises, including current responsibilities at Truist for a 60,000+ employee organization, and previous roles at BB&T and Fidelity Investments. Proficient in using the QualysGuard vulnerability assessment tool, Eric has contributed to infrastructure vulnerability detection since 2014. Prior experience includes senior IT security roles at Progress Energy, focusing on firewall management and security policy development, as well as consulting positions at Lucent/INS and IBM Global Services. Eric holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, along with certification as a Qualys Engineer.
