Gavin McDermott

Gavin McDermott is a Corporate Finance Credit Delivery Analyst at Truist, having joined the company in July 2022 after participating in the Leadership Development Program focused on Credit. Prior experience includes roles as a Mountain Sports School instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, a Brokerage Intern at JLL, and an Analyst at White Oak Partners LLC. Gavin began professional engagement as a Sailing Instructor at Camp Don Lee and gained early exposure to the healthcare field by shadowing Dr. David C. Matthews in craniofacial and reconstructive surgery. Gavin holds a degree in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Development with a focus on Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 2022, following education at Charlotte Catholic High School. Personal experiences related to a cleft lip birth defect have inspired a commitment to supporting affected patients.
