Stephen Winburn

Stephen Winburn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quantitative modeling and management. Currently serving as Vice President at Truist, Stephen contributes to the Wholesale loss forecasting team for regulatory models while overhauling performance monitoring plans. Previously, as Senior Quantitative Model Developer at Ally, Stephen led the development of advanced loss forecasting models for CCAR and CECL and was instrumental in the adoption of PySpark and AWS. Stephen's diverse background also includes managing a trucking company, teaching at the University of Georgia, and serving in the US Navy, where awards include two Navy achievement medals. Stephen holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Georgia and dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Finance from Augusta State University.
