Tanya Abrams

Tanya Abrams is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in executive communications, media relations, and editorial leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Executive Communications Senior Manager at Truist since June 2023, Tanya previously held significant roles at Wells Fargo as Communications Sr. Manager and VP of Corporate Communications, where responsibilities included managing high-priority announcements and founding the Corporate Communications Editing team. Previous positions include Communications Manager and Media Relations Specialist at the University of Southern California, Staff Editor at The New York Times, and Education Reporter for the Orlando Sentinel, among others. Tanya holds an M.A. in Graphic Communications Management & Technology from New York University and a B.S. in Magazine Production from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
