Manish Kapoor

Manish Kapoor has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Manish is currently the Founder & CEO of TruKno, a position they have held since December 2020.

Prior to their role at TruKno, Manish worked at Cisco Systems from 2007 to 2017. During their tenure, they served as the Director of Sales and Business Development from December 2015 to June 2017. Before that, they were a Senior Sales Business Development Manager from June 2007 to November 2015, where they played a key role in driving Cloud Strategy engagements with major Global Service Providers, helping them transition their Managed Services business models to a cloud architecture.

Manish also has experience at Motorola / Freescale Semiconductor, where they worked as a Sales Account Manager from February 2001 to 2006. In this role, they focused on selling Network/Communication Processors, Digital Signal Processors, and Microcontrollers to strategic and emerging customers in the telecommunications equipment industry.

Prior to their role at Motorola / Freescale Semiconductor, Manish worked at Motorola (Semiconductor Division) as a Product Manager from January 2000 to January 2001. As part of the company's technical sales training program, they acted as a Product Manager in four different product teams, contributing to the definition of product roadmaps through feedback from sales, customers, partners, and market research.

Manish's early work experience includes an internship at United Airlines as an Aircraft Simulation Engineer from July 1997 to December 1999. During this time, they led a project to implement the Autopilot for a Boeing 747-400 Aircraft Simulator and received recognition as the "Employee of the Month" for their exceptional achievements in leading a highly complex project.

Manish Kapoor completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Management from Harvard University between 2004 and 2007.
