Paul Southern

Paul Southern has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Paul currently holds a role as the VP of IT Infrastructure Services and Operations at Truliant Federal Credit Union, a position they have been in since February 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Director of IT Infrastructure Services at the same company from July 2020 to February 2022, and before that, they served as the Manager of IT Infrastructure Services from November 2018 to July 2020.

Paul held roles such as Battalion LAN Manager, Battalion System Administrator, Military Training Team Network Manager, and Signal System Support Specialist. In these positions, they demonstrated their leadership skills, implemented information assurance procedures, established and maintained secure networks, and ensured high system availability.

Additionally, Paul has experience working as a Warehouse Assistant at Velocity Express from 2004, where they were responsible for tracking and preventing loss of office supplies, as well as assisting with warehouse operations. Paul also had a role as a System Technician Intern at Sara Lee Branded Apparel from 2000 to 2003, where they gained knowledge and experience with system administration tasks, including new computer system rollouts and troubleshooting.

Paul Southern earned a High School Diploma from Bishop McGuinness from 1995 to 1999. From 1999 to 2005, they attended High Point University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration.
