Katie Trupiano

Katie Trupiano, LPC, NCC, SCL, is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and student services. Currently serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Truman Group since June 2019, Katie specializes in providing mental health consultations and psychotherapy to expatriates. Prior roles include Director of Student Services at The Grosse Pointe Academy, Residential Wellness Coordinator and Counselor at Iolani School, and Socio-Emotional Counselor at UWC Maastricht and Leysin American School in Switzerland. Katie's background also includes teaching Positive Psychology at the High School Affiliated with Renmin University and providing school-based therapy at Southwest Behavioral Health Services and Macomb County Community Mental Health. Katie holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from Wayne State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre from Albion College.
