Russell Nelson

Russell Nelson is currently a Professor of Art in the Design Program at Truman State University. Russell has held various positions in the art and advertising industry, including roles as Co-owner and Creative Director at Nelson/Weis Advertising, Inc., as well as Owner of Nelson Creative, LLC. With a background in Graphic Design, Russell has experience as an Art Director/Production Manager at MarketAide, Inc. and has worked as a Designer/Illustrator in both freelance and agency settings. Nelson holds an MFA in Visual Communications from Kansas State University and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Fort Hays State University.
