Karen Sweeney, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, oversees the human resources area for the credit union and provides oversight for employee relations and development, compensation and performance, benefits, and recruitment.
A seasoned executive with 17 years of senior level banking positions, Sweeney brings experience in organizational development and learning, strategic planning, and change management. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from Rider University, a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University, a Master of Science degree in Organization Development and Leadership from St. Joseph’s University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law. Sweeney holds designations as a Certified Coach, Certified DISC and Motivators Practitioner, Predictive Index (PI) Analyst, and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner as well as senior level certifications in human resources from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
