Brian Russon

Brian Russon has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Brian has held various roles in finance, operations, and leadership positions in the healthcare industry.

In their most recent role as Head of Finance and Staff at TruMed Systems, Inc., Brian oversees the financial operations of the company.

Prior to that, Brian served as the Vice President of Finance and Business Operations at San Diego Imaging Medical Group. In this role, they managed the finance and business operations for a medical group of 65 radiologists serving 13 hospitals and independent clinics in San Diego. Brian also managed a team of direct and indirect reports and was responsible for budgeting and forecasting.

Before joining San Diego Imaging Medical Group, Brian worked at Kaiser Permanente as the Executive Director of Commercial Membership Administration. In this role, they led the membership administration for over 6.5 million members and oversaw a large team. Brian implemented process improvements, mentored managers and directors, and improved employee engagement scores.

Brian has also worked at Sharp HealthCare in various roles. As a Finance Director, they developed and prepared annual budgets, improved forecasting processes, and implemented new reporting systems. Brian also served as the Director of Patient Access Services and Health Information Management, where they improved financial and operational performance and reduced discharge times.

In their early career, Brian worked at Aetna in roles such as Learning, Performance and Quality Manager and Claims Forecasting Manager. Brian was responsible for coordinating integration plans and training programs, as well as forecasting claim volumes and managing budgets.

Brian Russon attended San Diego State University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Brian then pursued further education at Woodbury University from 1998 to 2000, obtaining a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management.
