Eric Steinhagen

Eric Steinhagen has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Eric began their career in 2005 at Harman/Becker Automotive Systems, where they served as a Purchasing Junior Manager in the Electronic Purchasing department until 2007. Steinhagen then interned at Rohlig Australia in 2011, working in the management department with a focus on sales in intercontinental sea freight and air freight.

In 2012, they joined ThyssenKrupp Presta AG as a Final Thesis student and completed their thesis in early 2013. Steinhagen continued with the company as a Process Engineering Intern from April to August 2013. Eric then transitioned to TRUMPF North America in 2015 as a Strategic Purchaser until the end of 2017. From 2018 to 2022, they held the role of Commodity Manager at TRUMPF.

In 2022, Steinhagen took on the role of Regional Category Manager Drawing Parts North America at TRUMPF until February 2023. Currently, they serve as the Head of Purchasing Production Material at TRUMPF North America, a position they assumed in January 2023.

Eric Steinhagen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and Engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in an exchange program at Edinburgh Napier University from 2009 to 2010. Eric then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration and Engineering at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences from 2013 to 2014.
