Christian Baumann

Christian Baumann serves as the Head of Corporate Intellectual Property at TRUMPF since 2023. Previously, Christian held various roles at Schaeffler from 2014 to 2022, including Director of the Intellectual Property Department for the Asia/Pacific region, as well as positions as Team Lead for IP Digitalization and Patent Counsel. Prior experiences include tenure as a Patent Engineer at Peter Bittner and Partner, European Patent Attorneys, and roles at SAP, where Christian engaged in SAP Research and Quality/Test Engineering. Education includes a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and further study at the University of Technology Sydney in Computer Science.
