Jonas Weber

Jonas Weber is an experienced professional currently serving as Executive Assistant to the CTO at TRUMPF since December 2023. Prior to this role, Jonas held the position of Engineer in Advance Development at Precitec - Laser Material Processing from January 2022 to November 2023, focusing on innovation management and R&D in laser material processing and optical sensing. Jonas also worked as a Research Assistant and doctoral candidate at the University of Stuttgart from January 2017 to December 2021, overseeing the quantum optics lab. Earlier internships included a research role at CLPU, where Jonas contributed to studies on laser radiation and a position in R&D at TRUMPF focused on laser cutting and welding. Educational qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Physical Sciences and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Stuttgart, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the same institution and education at Chalmers University of Technology.
