Opal South

Opal South currently serves as a 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at Trussville City Schools since August 2017. Previously, Opal South held various roles including Interventionist, Marketing & Enrollment Director, Class Teacher, Linear Editor, and On-Air Promotions at organizations such as Williams Intermediate School, Alabama Waldorf School, and Eternal Word Television Network. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Fine Arts in Children's Literature from Hollins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Alabama, along with a high school diploma in Creative Writing from Interlochen Center for the Arts.
