David Smart

David Smart has a vast work experience that includes roles such as President/CEO at Trust Federal Credit Union, Financial Risk Consultant at Unum, Controller at Dupont Community Credit Union Hixson, TN, CFO at Capital Bank, and Senior Accountant at Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter, PLLC. David has been President/CEO at Trust Federal Credit Union since June 2008 and previously held positions at various organizations from 1997 to 2008.

David Smart attended The University of Alabama from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing. Later, in 2006, they attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, this time in Accounting. David Smart also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), which they obtained from the Tennessee Board of Accountancy in October 2000.
