Shahkar Ahmed

Shahkar Ahmed is a Risk Management Analyst in Global Operations at Meta since August 2022, focusing on the proactive identification and mitigation of Trust & Safety risks for Facebook and Instagram. Shahkar has developed a risk management roadmap that supports the safety of 90 million users in the APAC region. Additionally, Shahkar has contributed to the Trust & Safety Professional Association as a member since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Account Manager at Engro Corp, managing over 150 B2B clients and driving significant revenue growth, and at Nestlé, where leadership of a team and successful client management led to substantial annual revenue. Shahkar's career also includes project management experience at SmashCloud, where Agile methodologies were utilized to improve project efficiency. Educationally, Shahkar holds a BSc (Honours) in Politics and Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, completed in 2018.
