Martin Loeffler

Martin Loeffler is the current Chief Security & Privacy Officer at Trust Science. Martin has over 25 years of experience in the field of information security.

Loeffler began their career in 1994 as an Information / Cyber Security Consultant with Bandwidth, Power and Light Inc. Martin then spent two years as an Information Security Architect with The DocSpace Company before moving on to White Picket Defense for a year in the same role.

In 2001, Loeffler transitioned to the public sector, taking on a Senior IT Security Consultant role with the Ontario Government. Martin then spent eight years as the Director of Information Security for the Greater Toronto Airports Authority before joining the University of Toronto in 2009.

Loeffler spent nine years at the University of Toronto, first as Director of Information Secuirty and Enterprise Architecture, and then as Director of Shared Security Operations Centre. In 2018, they left the University to take on the role of Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer with Great-West Life.

Loeffler left Great-West Life in 2017 to become the Director, Enterprise Architecture & IT Security at Toronto Hydro. Martin held this position for two years before joining Trust Science in 2019.

Martin Loeffler has a Master of Information from the University of Toronto, with a focus in Information Security and Privacy. Martin also has a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto. In addition, they have an MBA Essentials certification from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Martin is also certified by ISACA in Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM). Martin is also certified by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

They are on a team with Conan Rocha - Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Lenora Thomas - VP Customer Operations, and Colin Tran - VP Corporate Affairs. Martin Loeffler reports to Evan Chrapko, Founder, Chairman & CEO.
