Salen Churi

Founder and General Partner at Trust Ventures

Salen Churi began their career in 2009 as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio for Judge Sandra S. Beckwith. Salen then moved on to Sidley Austin LLP in 2011 as an Associate, followed by a similar role in Kirkland & Ellis LLP in 2013. In the same year, they became an Associate Director of the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship and a Law Professor and Director of the Innovation Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School. In 2017, they became the Founder and General Partner of Trust Ventures, and in 2020 they joined the Board of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.

Salen Churi graduated from Miami University in 2008 with a B.A., with honors, in Philosophy. Salen then attended the University of Chicago Law School, where they earned a J.D., with honors.
