Ray Steinle

Ray Steinle has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Ray started their career as a Logistics Planner in the United States Air Force, where they were responsible for preparing, evaluating, and supervising deployment planning. After leaving the Air Force, Ray joined U.S. Bank as a Network Administrator/Project Leader, overseeing systems administration and developing technical documentation. Ray then moved on to Emteq as a Business Unit Manager, where they oversaw all aspects of operations and customer relations. Ray later joined Rockwell Automation, first as a Senior IT Program Manager and later as a Manager/Leader in Cyber Security/Engineering and Operations. At Northwestern Mutual, they served as a Manager/Leader in Identity and Access Management, focusing on delivering security solutions. Ray's most recent position is with TruStage, where they initially worked as a Senior Information Security Manager and is currently the Director of Information Security, responsible for strategic delivery and execution of information security programs for the company.

Ray Steinle has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Ray also has an Associate of Applied Science degree in IT Programming/Project Management from Waukesha County Technical College, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. In 2008, Ray underwent Officer Leadership Training at the Academy of Military Science. Additionally, Ray has pursued various certifications, including being a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2015 and obtaining a Certified in Risk and Information System Management credential from ISACA in 2017. Ray has also acquired certifications and credentials related to leadership and management from IANS in 2023. Ray'seducation and certifications demonstrate a strong focus on engineering, technology, security, and leadership. Ray is currently enrolled in the SEC522: Application Security program at the SANS Technology Institute, with an expected completion date of 2023.
