Albert Alcovendas

Albert Alcovendas has a diverse work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Albert has been working at TrustArc since 2017, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to a Senior Software Engineer and then a Senior Software Engineer Lead. In these roles, they have been responsible for full-stack web development, system specification and design, research and creation of prototypes, and mentoring and training junior engineers. Additionally, Albert has also served as a Scrum Master, facilitating scrum ceremonies, managing workflow improvements, and prioritizing tasks from stakeholders. Prior to their time at TrustArc, they worked at NEC Telecom Software Philippines, Inc. as a Software Design Engineer, where they performed requirements gathering and analysis, documentation design and creation, code implementation and reviews, and unit and integration testing.

Albert Alcovendas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Cebu Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Albert later obtained additional certifications, including the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in March 2018, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020.
