Kristy Sawyer

Kristy Sawyer is a seasoned privacy professional with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Principal at Sawyer Privacy Consulting since November 2017. In addition, Kristy has held the position of Senior Privacy Consultant at TrustArc since October 2017 and works as a Privacy Specialist at De Jesus Consulting since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Kristy contributed significantly to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from January 2011 to November 2017 as Privacy Officer for the United States Citizenship Immigration Service and as Senior Privacy Analyst for US VISIT. Kristy's career began at SRA International, where Kristy was a Senior Privacy Analyst from October 2004 to January 2011. Kristy holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree from The George Washington University.
