Sr. Sales Executive - Client Acquisition at TrustArc

Mehul Rao has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles.

Mehul started their career as a Trainee Engineer at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in 2008, followed by a role as a Process Engineer at Fusion Electronics Pvt. Ltd in 2009. Mehul then joined Infosys as a Test Engineer in 2010, where they successfully completed training equivalent to a B.S. degree.

In 2011, Mehul started their own entrepreneurial venture called Vie Consultancy Services, where they provided marketing process outsourcing services. Mehul operated Vie Consultancy Services until 2013.

After that, Mehul joined The PRactice as a Consulting Associate. Their responsibilities included business planning, client acquisition, sales prospecting, account management, and executing marketing and brand campaigns for clients.

In 2014, they joined Affle as a Manager in International Sales, where they played a crucial role in establishing Affle's operations in the U.S. and China. Mehul later took on the roles of Senior Manager and Associate Director in International Sales, closing deals with global performance agencies and Fortune 1000 companies, resulting in a significant increase in revenue.

In 2017, Mehul joined Urban Airship as the Sales Director for APAC, where they achieved significant business growth by retaining existing customers, winning new business opportunities, and developing channel partner relationships.

From 2019 to 2020, they worked for Affle again as the Director of Business Development for North America, tasked with growing Affle's business in the region.

In 2020, Mehul briefly worked as a Strategic Account Executive at eSSENTIAL Accessibility before joining TrustArc as a Senior Sales Executive. Their responsibilities at TrustArc included uncovering new business opportunities, strategic selling to C-level executives, understanding customer needs, negotiating agreements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Throughout their career, Mehul has consistently achieved or exceeded sales targets, with notable accomplishments recognized through various achievements and awards.

Mehul Rao holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in International Business from the University of Lucknow, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, graduating between 2005 and 2009. Mehul also completed their Class 10th and 12th from St Francis College Lucknow from 1998 to 2005.

Furthermore, they have a certification in Business Administration and Management, General, known as National Eligibility Test (NET) from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Lastly, they have acquired the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification in February 2022 from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
