Alden Bohrmann

Alden Bohrmann has a diverse work experience in various roles within the design field. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Designer at TrustCloud, where they started in March 2023 after previously serving as the Lead Designer from November 2021. Before joining TrustCloud, Alden was a Co-Founder at The Scribes, a company they started in November 2019.

Prior to that, Alden worked at Payability as a Product Designer from October 2017 to November 2021. While at Payability, they successfully collaborated with marketing, product, and overseas development teams to create a range of customer-facing products. Alden also played a significant role in the redesign of the company's website and landing pages, resulting in improved page speed for mobile and desktop apps and an optimized onboarding process based on user research.

Apart from their work at Payability, Alden gained experience as a Freelance UI/UX Designer at Haute Hijab in 2019, a Freelance Digital Designer at Dozen Digital from March 2018 to January 2019, and as a UI/UX Consultant at InSpirAVE from August to October 2017. During their role at InSpirAVE, Alden contributed to the redesign of the company's website, web app, and email, as well as assisting with rebranding efforts. Notably, InSpirAVE received recognition as a top fintech company by SXSW and American Banker.

Alden began their career as a QA Analyst Intern at The Happy Cloud, where they worked for two summers from May 2014 to August 2015. Here, they gained experience in quality assurance, backend development, and learned programming languages such as Python, HTML, and CSS. Prior to that, Alden served as an IT Intern at The VIA Agency from October 2013 to January 2014, gaining knowledge in hardware development, network administration, and information security.

Overall, Alden Bohrmann has a well-rounded background in design, with experience in various industries that have allowed them to develop a diverse skill set.

Alden Bohrmann received a GED from Falmouth High School in Maine from 2009 to 2013. From 2014 to 2017, Alden pursued a Bachelor's Degree in iSchool - Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at Syracuse University. In 2017, Alden attended General Assembly for the User Experience Design Immersive program and became a certified UX Designer. Alden also obtained additional certifications in Creating Infographics with Illustrator, Logo Design Techniques, and Photoshop for UX Design from Lynda.com in September 2017.
