Zachary Thom

Zachary Thom has worked in the engineering field since 2020. In 2020, they were a Student Research Aid at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where they used Java coding language to update and troubleshoot a play framework application, set up a PostgreSQL database, and revised the application to communicate with the database. In 2021, they were an Electrical Engineering Intern at Connexus® Energy, where they constructed computer models of current and upcoming construction projects to better analyze the distribution network, created phase balancing solutions to improve efficiency and backfeed capability of the grid, and conducted data entry and validation for outage management, SCADA, and GIS Mapping. Currently, they are a Digital Design Engineer at Trusted Semiconductor Solutions.

Zachary Thom attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
