Benjamin Gibney

Benjamin Gibney has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on consumer lending and management. Benjamin currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Director of Consumer Lending at TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union since April 2020. Prior to this role, they were the Card Services Manager at the same company from June 2017 to April 2020.

Before joining TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union, Benjamin worked at Citi for a significant part of their career. Benjamin held various positions during their tenure, including Vice President/District Manager from January 2007 to January 2016, and Branch Manager from January 2004 to December 2006. In these roles, they managed daily operations, made credit decisions, and focused on employee development, lending, credit management, and customer service.

Earlier in their career, Benjamin worked at TCF Bank as a Branch Manager from September 1998 to December 2003. Benjamin demonstrated strong sales results and leadership abilities, resulting in rapid promotions. Their responsibilities included managing staff in mortgage lending, training and motivating staff, and overseeing the branch loan portfolio.

Benjamin Gibney obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota Duluth, attending from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Ely Memorial High School, from 1989 to 1994.
