Richard Hayton

Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, Secure Platform at Trustonic

Richard Hayton has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Richard started their career at APM Limited, where they served as the Technical Lead for the ANSA Phase III project from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they led the FlexiNet Project.

In 1998, Richard joined Citrix, where they held various roles over a span of 18 years. Richard initially worked as an Architect in the Desktop Platform group, focusing on the development of Citrix Dazzle. Richard then served as the CTO of the Receiver and Gateways Group, where they played a key role in streamlining client platforms and creating a new business for Citrix. During this time, they led technical investigations and in-house development of MAM technologies, and was involved in the acquisitions of ShareFile and Zenprise.

Richard's final role at Citrix was Chief Architect of the Mobility Group, where they coordinated the integration of technologies following the acquisition of Zenprise. Richard also served as the technical lead for the ongoing evolution of Citrix Receiver.

In 2016, Richard joined Trustonic as the Chief Architect before becoming the CTO. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, focusing on strategy, innovation, and company direction.

Richard Hayton completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge from 1988 to 1991. Richard further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science, between 1992 and 1996.
