Ebony Dashiell-Aje

Dr. Ebony Dashiell-Aje is currently the Executive Director and Head of Patient-Centered Outcomes Science in Clinical Development, at BioMarin Pharmaceutical, Inc. Dr. Dashiell-Aje is a leading expert in clinical outcome assessment (COA) design and implementation, digital health technology implementation, and data interpretation, and study endpoint issues impacting medical product development and commercialization. She was awarded Ph.D. and BA degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Prior to BioMarin, Dr. Dashiell-Aje served in the Division of Clinical Outcome Assessments (DCOA) in the Office of New Drugs at FDA and was a key player in shaping patient-focused drug development (PFDD) efforts, providing technical leadership on PFDD Guidance documents and key digital health technology policy development and implementation.
