Michael Liu

Michael Liu is a Senior Research Analyst at Truth Initiative, where responsibilities include leading tobacco prevention and cessation research projects, as well as developing databases to track e-cigarette sales trends using SQL and Python. Previous positions at Truth Initiative included roles as Research Analyst, focusing on longitudinal and cross-sectional studies, and Junior Research Analyst, managing data quality and conducting analyses with statistical software. Prior to Truth Initiative, Michael Liu served as a Research Assistant at American Institutes for Research, assessing standardized test results for numerous students, and gained analysis experience through internships in both China Pacific Insurance Company and China Resources (Holdings) Co. Michael Liu holds a Master’s Degree in Statistics from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from Nanjing University of Finance and Economics.
