Katie is currently a Regulatory Research Success Manager at Truveta since January 2024. Prior to this role, Katie served as a Safety Surveillance Research Study Implementation Manager at Pfizer from November 2020 to January 2024 and held several positions at Florida Health, including Surveillance Epidemiologist and Respiratory Disease Surveillance Unit Manager from August 2017 to November 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as a Community Epidemiologist at the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness and as part of the CDC/CSTE Applied Epidemiology Fellowship program at Florida Health. Additional experience includes an internship in Foodborne Disease Epidemiology at the Georgia Department of Public Health, a Teaching Assistant position at Emory University, and a Research Assistant role at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Katie holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Epidemiology from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Genetics from Texas A&M University.
