Tony Kassab

Tony Kassab has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2009, they started their career as a driver for California Yellow Cab, where they worked until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at California State University, Fullerton, initially as a Teaching Assistant and later as a Visiting Lecturer, teaching courses such as Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability Theory, Statistical Learning, and Linear Algebra.

In 2015, Tony joined HomeUnion as an Applied Data Scientist, working on data analysis related to real estate. Tony stayed with the company until the end of 2016. In 2017, they joined Amazon as a Research Data Scientist II and then was promoted to Research Data Scientist III in 2018. During their time at Amazon, they conducted research and utilized data science techniques for various projects, leaving the company in 2020.

From 2020 to 2022, Tony worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior ML Solutions Architect, utilizing their knowledge of machine learning to architect and implement solutions for clients. Currently, they are employed as a Principal ML Engineer at Truveta, a role they started in 2022.

Throughout their career journey, Tony has gained expertise in machine learning, data analysis, research, and teaching, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Tony Kassab completed their education in the field of mathematics and numerical optimization. Tony obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Numerical Optimization & Probability Theory from the same university between 2013 and 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Tony Kassab has also acquired certifications in relevant areas. Tony completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in March 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020.
