Jeff Homer has worked in environmental, health, and safety compliance for over fifteen years. Jeff began their career in 2005 with General Dynamics, where they quickly rose to the position of Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety Programs. In this role, they were responsible for hazardous waste management, industrial wastewater treatment, air permitting and reporting, and storm water compliance. Jeff also oversaw a number of occupational safety programs, including hazard communication, accident investigation and reporting, emergency preparedness and response, and radiation safety.
In 2015, Jeff left General Dynamics to take on the role of Director at TRUWEST CREDIT UNION. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the credit union's compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations. Jeff has also implemented and maintained ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems certifications at various TRUWEST facilities.
Jeff is a highly skilled and experienced compliance professional who has a proven track record of successfully managing compliance programs at both large and small organizations. Jeff is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of workers and the environment, and is always looking for ways to improve the effectiveness of their compliance programs.
Jeff Homer completed their undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Brigham Young University.
