Mads Vestergard

Mads Vestergard is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in innovation, strategy development, and energy sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Group Innovation and Prevention at Tryg, Mads oversees Commercial Excellence, Innovation, and Prevention while collaborating with business units to identify opportunities and enhance operational effectiveness. Prior roles at Tryg include Director of Nordic Innovation Development, where Mads focused on launching growth initiatives and developing business models. Mads has also held positions at Ørsted, managing US Bid Support teams for renewable energy projects, and served as an Associate Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. Mads's earlier career includes roles in the Danish Ministry of Finance and Copenhagen Economics, along with teaching positions in microeconomics at several educational institutions. Mads holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and was an exchange student at The University of British Columbia.
