Garðar Guðgeirsson

Garðar Guðgeirsson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive VP of Strategy & Risk at TM since October 2023. Prior to this role, Garðar held the position of Head of Strategy at Kvika banki hf. from January 2023 to October 2023, and founded Stakkar Analytics, where work was done from March 2021 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Development at TM and various leadership roles at Tryggingamiðstöðin, including VP Risk Pricing and VP Investments and Business Development. Garðar's career also includes an associate position at McKinsey & Company and a tenure as CEO at Íslenska verkfræðistofan. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IMD, an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of York, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Háskóli Íslands.
