Eddie Santillan has a long history of work experience. Eddie began their career in 2000 as an Americorps Member for Jumpstart, followed by an Engineering Intern at Hamilton Sundstrand in 2002. In 2005, they became a Quality Technician and then an Operations Supervisor at GAF Materials Corporation, where they were responsible for 30+ FTE and drove process improvement projects. In 2007, they started at Google as a Quality Process Team Lead I & II, managing the Quality Assurance operation for Book Search and spearheading efforts to scale the eBooks team for product launch. In 2012, they were an MBA Intern at American Express, and in 2013 they became a Managing Partner at Redwood Management Partners. From 2015-2022, they held various roles at Gusto!, including Head of Customer Engagement, Head of Customer Care, and Head of Insights & Operations. Most recently, they became the Head of Customer Experience at Sparrow, where they work to automate the most painful parts of leave across the US and Canada.
Eddie Santillan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, and has attended James Cook University.
