Erika Taniguchi has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. erika started their career as an intern at Lowercase Productions in 2006. In 2009, they worked as a design intern at Receiver Design, Inc., where they gained experience in visual production design, file clean-up, and office maintenance. erika also worked as a freelance graphic designer for Goodjoe, Inc., where they designed a car wrap for their founder's vehicle to advertise their website and cause.

In the same year, Erika worked as a freelance graphic designer for TreeRing, creating illustrations for a yearbook template. erika then joined Asketic SF as a freelance graphic designer, collaborating on visually designing a website for a boutique in Brooklyn and a restaurant in San Francisco.

Erika's career progressed, and in 2011, they joined MAC Cosmetics as an Assistant Manager, responsible for managing 15 employees, ensuring quality customer service, adhering to brand standards, and boosting sales and productivity. erika also handled training and succession planning, as well as hiring and recruiting.

In 2010, Erika started their own business, Beauty By Erika, where they acquired clients for beauty services, tailored styles and needs for photoshoots or filming, and utilized their beauty and trend education to create unique looks. Currently, they are working as the Lead Leave Payroll Analyst at Sparrow, a position they started in 2021.

Erika Taniguchi attended Liberty High School from 2002 to 2005, and they did not receive a degree or focus on any specific field of study during this time. erika then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of California from 2005 to 2009.
