Steve Roberds

Steve Roberds began their professional career in 1986 as a Student Co-op at Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals. In 1992, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Iowa, HHMI. Steve then moved to Pharmacia in 1995, where they served as a Research Scientist. In 2003, they joined Pfizer as an Associate Research Fellow and was promoted to Research Project Leader in the Indications Discovery Unit from 2007-2011. In 2011, they became the Chief Scientific Officer of the TSC Alliance, where they lead the scientific strategy of the organization and partners with scientists and clinicians in basic, translational and clinical research to advance new treatments and ultimately a cure for tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC).

Steve Roberds received their B.S. in Pharmacy from Butler University between 1982 and 1987. Following this, they attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and obtained their Ph.D. in Pharmacology between 1987 and 1992.
