Brian Chen

Brian Chen, CPA, CMA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Brian currently serves as the SVP of Global Accounting at TS Imagine, a PE-backed software company offering trading, portfolio management, and risk solutions to financial institutions globally. Prior to this, they were the Global Corporate Controller at Productboard, a SaaS company focused on helping organizations bring products to market faster. Brian also held the position of Global Controller at Pipedrive, a PE-backed SAAS company selling CRM software. During their time at Pipedrive, they oversaw accounting operations, led financial statement preparation and audits, and implemented various financial systems. Before their roles in the private sector, Brian worked at Alvarez & Marsal in M&A Transaction Advisory and at Ernst & Young, LLP as an Assurance Senior. At Ernst & Young, they worked on various technical projects, served as an instructor for Advanced Excel Trainings, and received high rankings for their performance. Additionally, they have experience as a Finance and Budget Officer in the Taiwan Marine Corps and as a Business School Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Brian Chen, CPA, CMA, holds a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Information System at the same university from 2005 to 2009. In addition, Brian has obtained certifications as a Certified Management Accountant from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants and as a Certified Public Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
