Michael Gallagher

Michael Gallagher is a Senior Scientist at TScan Therapeutics since August 2023, previously serving as Scientist II and Scientist at AffyImmune Therapeutics from February 2021 to August 2023. Michael conducted PhD research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School from August 2014 to December 2020 under Dr. Leslie Berg. Earlier experiences include working as a Research Technician at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where research focused on B cell receptor rearrangement, and as a QA/QC Technician - Microbiologist at Mass. Bay Brewing Company, overseeing microorganism screening in beer production. Prior research technician roles were with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Immune Disease Institute. Michael earned a PhD in Immunology from UMass Chan Medical School and a BS in Biology from Union College.
