Susan Knowles

Susan Knowles has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Susan is currently the Director of CMC Operations at TScan Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Commercial Product & External Manufacturing at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals from August 2021 to January 2022. From July 2019 to August 2021, Susan served as the Associate Director of Drug Product Manufacturing at Sarepta Therapeutics, where they managed a team and led validation activities for late-stage products. Susan also worked as the Senior Manager of CMO Management at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals from 2017 to 2019, overseeing manufacturing operations and partnerships. Before that, Susan was a Senior Technical Project Manager at OvaScience from August 2015 to April 2017, providing technical support for third-party manufacturers. Earlier in their career, they held roles at Shire HGT as a Senior Process Engineer from June 2011 to August 2015, at Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a Process Engineer from May 2007 to June 2011, and at Wyeth Biotech as a Process Engineer from 2000 to 2007, where they assisted in the development and scale-up of drug product formulations.

Susan Knowles has a comprehensive education history, which includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from Post University, earned between the years 2013 and 2016. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2003 to 2006. Susan's undergraduate studies were also completed at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from 1997 to 2001.
