Vivin Karthik

Vivin Karthik is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Principal Research Associate at TScan Therapeutics since October 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Research Associate. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maine Graduate School, where research focused on osteocyte bioenergetics and insulin signaling pathways. Prior to this, Vivin earned a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from Drexel University College of Medicine, studying immune responses in HIV infection. Initial research experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at Biocon and Shasun, focusing on macrolide fermentation and protein purification, respectively, preceded by a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
