Gareth Marshall has worked in the regulatory and science-based services industry since 2003. Gareth began their career as an Executive Officer at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in 2003, followed by a role as an Examination Coordinator at Caedmon College Whitby. In 2005, they joined the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs as a Scientific Officer in the Pesticides Safety Directorate. In 2007, they moved to the Health and Safety Executive as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist in the Chemicals Regulation Division. In 2016, they joined TSG Consulting as a Senior Plant Protection Consultant and Project Manager. In this role, they provided scientific and strategic support to clients in all aspects of PPP regulation for professional and amateur use markets. Gareth was also responsible for the evaluation of PPP active substance and product dossiers and the determination of evaluation criteria and risk mitigation measures.

Gareth Marshall attended Whitby Community College from 1994 to 1999, where they completed their A level in Biology, General. Gareth then attended the University of Liverpool from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Science.
