Antonio Andreoni

Antonio Andreoni is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in development economics and industrial economics. Currently serving as Co Director of the Centre for Sustainable Structural Transformation and Professor of Development Economics at SOAS University of London, Antonio also holds the position of Pro-dean for Research & Knowledge Exchange at CoDEF College of Development Economics & Finance. Antonio is a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Johannesburg and an Honorary Professor at UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, where responsibilities also include heading research. In addition, Antonio holds a Full Professorship in Economics at the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. Previous roles include Senior Lecturer at SOAS University of London and Research Associate at the University of Cambridge. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge, along with summa cum laude degrees in Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
