Bowen Zhou

Bowen Zhou is a distinguished academic and industry leader in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as Chair Professor at 清华 since May 2022 and as Founder of Frontis.ai since November 2021. Prior to these roles, Bowen Zhou held significant positions at 京东 from September 2017 to November 2021, including President of JD Cloud & AI and President of JD AI & Director of JD AI Research. Bowen Zhou's extensive experience also includes a longstanding tenure at IBM from March 2003 to September 2017, where key roles included Director of AI Foundations and Chief Scientist of Watson Group. An academic background features a Ph.D. in Electrical Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China.
